FRACTURED FAMILIES
I HAVE A friend who, for the past decade, has been alienated from her adult children and their families. The rift began when her marriage broke down and the children took sides with their father. As she tried to come to grips with what has happened, she tells me that she watches families, listens to others talk about how they relate to their children, and learns from them. FRACTURED FAMILIES

Many white Australians would like to say ‘sorry’ to our indigenous people, but are unsure whether their apology would be heard. On a recent trip to the Kimberleys, in far West Australia, I express my sorrow for what white Australians have done to Aboriginal people… I SAY ‘SORRY’

Many people have left the Church because they have found it to be lonely, alienating, unwelcoming, cold and indifferent. This is so far removed from what Christ requires of those who love Him… I WAS A STRANGER
BECOMING REAL
The community is looking for authentic people, those who ‘tell it like it is’, who live out their faith amid the challenges of life, who do not pretend that when things are difficult all is well. Christians need to get real, live their faith in genuine authenticity, acknowledging their vulnerability and their humanness. By doing that they will relate to others who struggle with life and need an Anchor, the Lord Jesus Christ, to hold onto in the storms of life… BECOMING REAL
WHO ME LORD?
In our human fraility we often think that God cannot possibly use us. We are in good company: the Bible tells of several people who told God He did not know what He was talking about… WHO ME LORD
SEEK HIS FACE
The wonder of our faith is that through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, we can enjoy the presence of God, seeking His face on a daily basis… SEEK HIS FACE
